This is an excellent quality recorder, with excellent tone and playability. However, it lacks clarity on certain higher notes as well as the size of holes that need to be half covered for some accidental notes. I would reccomend this most likely for a smaller, developing musician.

I've ordered several recorders from Lyons, including a Yamaha "professional" model. Yjis one sounds better and is much better playing the lowest notes. Sturdy and well made.
