As an early childhood educator, scarves are a favorite in my classroom. I use them in many ways: Infants benefit from the sensory stimulation they offer, toddlers and preschoolers love tossing them and dancing with them. All children love the variety of colors, and I use them as props for just about any music and movement activity I come up with in class. I also facilitate a music and movement for Elders at an assisted living facility. I use these colored scarves for "rhythm" activities- since they are easily held by frail hands and even wheelchair bound participants can successfully wave and sway to a beat. What impresses me most about the Rhythm Band scarves is their durability and ease of care. I've had the same set for almost two years and they STILL retain their vibrant color and look as good as new - even after weekly washings. These are a great investment that will continue to inspire, and will be used for a wide variety of classroom activities.
